What a seamless experience I had with Extra Mile Moving.
Prompt original calls; easy planing, flexible to my needs and very experience with my Mom’s move to a senior living community.
I would highly recommend them…and I used to move furniture during college…and I’m particular.

Last week a giant oak tree destroyed my parents home. My father is wheelchair bound and my mother has dementia so I stepped in to help manage the details of their situation.

Our temporary emergency housing provided by insurance (an ADA hotel room) was not workable since my dad usually sleeps in a hospital bed- and needs round the clock assistance. In the midst of all the chaos I was able to find a senior living facility that had immediate openings. I needed to get him to a safe situation asap.

After struggling to find movers who were immediately available I called extra mile and was met with compassion and told that they would make it work- same day. Three young men showed up who were polite, kind and willing to do whatever it took to help me with every part of the move. No matter what my request the response was always, "of course" and "yes we can make that work for you".

Although they had squeezed us in after a full day of work and we arrived very late at the facility they did not rush and helped place all of the items in the right rooms as well as connecting the hospital bed and lamps, etc. Couldn't recommend more! Great work ethic.

Joe Marshall and his Extra Mile moving company were great to work with. We would recommend them to anyone. They were always available for questions and support. They were very careful with all of our belongings. They made our move easy and set up each room perfectly in our new home.

With a late notice, these guys were able to get us moved out of our old home and into our new home in an expedient manner. They orchestrated the move with exceptional professionalism and the added courteous nature of the crew was a welcomed surprise. Gives me hope for the future generations that there are still hardworking young people willing to go above and beyond!  Well worth the money… happiest I’ve been about writing a check in a long time. This is the first time I used Extra Mile moving.  They are very professional from the office to the men that moved me.  I talked to Joe in the office and he was so polite and very helpful.
